Run to End Poverty Winnipeg
Run to End Poverty is coming to Winnipeg on June 19, 2011 at the Manitoba Marathon! Click ‘Get Started’ on the right to join the R2EP team, and run with us in the Marathon, Half Marathon, 2.6mi, or relay race!
This year, R2EP Winnipeg is running in support of Engineers Without Borders’ “Water and Sanitation” team in Malawi!
EWB’s Water and Sanitation team is identifying and scaling-up innovative approaches to improve clean water access in Malawi. Using a tool created to monitor the lifecycle of hand pumps, wells and boreholes, EWB volunteers have documented the location of water points across the country. With this information, volunteers are facilitating improved decision-making for development partners and local government.
