Run to End Poverty Calgary
The Run to End Poverty has partnered with the Scotiabank Calgary Marathon organization to bring runners the opportunity to run in the 5km, 10km, half-marathon, and full marathon on Sunday, May 29th of 2011. When registering with the Run to End Poverty, runners also register with Calgary Marathon selecting a distance of choice. Doing so, you are ready to raise funds via your very own Run to End Poverty fundraising profile, on-line at this web site (www.runtoendpoverty.ca). Don’t forget, you are required to raise a minimum of $100, for which you obtain a jersey and discounted registration in the run.
Registering!
Step 1) Register for the run of your choice at www.calgarymarathon.com and follow the following registration instructions:
1. Click on the red “Register” button at the top right side of the screen (This will take you to the Events Online form)
2. Complete the Mandatory fields as required, and be sure to click the button next to “I will fundraise at least $100 for an official charity from the list of charities below”, as this will result in a discounted registration.
3. Choose ‘Run to End Poverty’ from the charity drop-down box.
4. Continue filling out the Mandatory fields
5. Check the box to indicate that you have agreed to the Waiver
6. Click the Submit button, which will take you to a confirmation screen of all the information you have inputted
7. If the information is correct then proceed with payment by entering your credit card information and clicking on the Click to Pay button below.
8. If the registration is complete, then you will receive a confirmation email and be transferred to the Run to End Poverty fundraising system. Alternatively click the link in Step 2.
Step 2) Sign up on the R2EP website at www.runtoendpoverty.ca/register and create a profile that acts as a personal communication page for your fundraising campaign. During sign-up, select Corporate Challenge and a team if you are part of a corporate team.
Run Package Pick-up
